BIWEEKLY REFLECTION - phase 1

Class : IX - G

The next 10 days of teaching practice.There is only one week left to complete the teaching practice. These two weeks were gone very fastly. There was assembly there and morning prayer, mid day meal everything was there and it is very glad that they included us in each and every occasions happened over there. These two weeks makes more strength to the pillars of my teaching practice and experience. My abilities and skills in teaching were definitely increased and looking forward a clear path of teaching is opened in my eyes. These all because of this teaching practice and I think every student teacher gone through these paths and it makes their teaching career better. I can realise the fact that every student is different, their capabilities, talents, potentialities etc are varied.
During these week I completed the chapter named  Circle measures and started a new chapter named Real Numbers. I applied new teaching methods to taught this concept. Concept attainment model and ICT based teaching had done. On the changing the teaching methods we can draw the attention of students to the topic. Students are curiously watch the class.

The last week, we celebrated Children's day and there was rally and all and every student take part in it. The students were also participate in Kalolsavam at sub district level and win trophies and all and it was distributed in assembly.

 Innovation can be defined simply as a " new idea, device or method". Innovation work helps  a teacher to teach a lesson easily.As part of B. Ed curriculum in teaching practice phase - I, I had to do an innovative work, the present innovative work is based on the 9th standard chapter 'Real numbers '. This is a way to remember the definition of real numbers. It helps the children to avoid rote memorization.  This innovative work presents a 'Real number Box' model to help students easily remember the different set of real numbers with examples. For the execution of this innovative work I reached 9.G class on the fourth period on 7 November 2024 of my first phase teaching practice. 4 October 2024  - 18 October 2024 School  : New Higher Secondary School Nellimoodu  Class : IX - G The next two weeks of teaching practice.In every day there is a morning prayer in the school. In special days there will be an assembly.During this week I completed the given first chapter named Irrational Multiplication and started a new chapter named Similar Triangles. Also I conducted a test paper on the chapter Irrational Multiplication. Students written the exam very well. Also I had to taught a substitutional class IX-D. I got different experiences in the different classes. Also I get an interaction opportunity to different types of students. In these weeks we got an extra leave on Pooja holiday. We had an opportunity to conduct the NAS examination for the children.   13 January 2025 - 24 January 2025 School : New Higher Secondary School Nellimoodu  Class : IX G The next two weeks of teaching practice.In every day there is a morning prayer in the school. In special days there will be an assembly.Also I had to taught a substitutional class IX-D. I got different experiences in the different classes.In these week I also taught area of prism by the constructivist method. On the changing teaching methods the students can understand the concept well. Also there is a PTA meeting in the week. So we have to do an extra duty even the UP section for the classroom management. I results different experiences for me.  In these week the school arranged one day study tour for the children in the nearby Botanical Garden.Also I can completed a chapter prism in these week.
